Overview

What It Is.

InvoiceMe is built offline-first. Invoices, customers and payment records live on the device, and the core of the app — creating an invoice, calculating totals, generating the PDF, scheduling reminders — works with no connection at all.

It is made for freelancers, independent professionals and small businesses who need to send a correct invoice quickly, see what has been paid and know what is overdue, without creating an account or handing their client list to a service. Invoice fields, currency and tax configuration adapt to the country the business operates in.

How It Was Built

From the first sketch to a release-ready build.

  1. 01

    The idea

    Most invoicing tools assume a connection and an account. Start from the opposite premise: everything on the device, nothing required before you can send a correct invoice.

  2. 02

    Product design

    The flows people repeat — new invoice, mark as paid, chase an overdue one — kept short, with the numbers that matter readable at a glance.

  3. 03

    Development

    Built natively for Android with records in a local database, and invoice calculation kept separate from the interface.

  4. 04

    Testing

    Checked across screen sizes, and against the arithmetic: discounts, tax rates and rounding verified against expected totals.

  5. 05

    Launch

    Prepared for release with store assets, icon and screenshots, and a versioned build.
